Workspaces, capacity, and live reports
A live report needs a workspace and enough capacity to refresh. Those settings are administration, not DAX. I treat them as part of handover. If a refresh that used to run now fails, the first check is often the workspace, not the measure.
What I set before release
Who owns the workspace, who can publish, and which capacity the dataset is on. A report that sits on a personal workspace is not handed over.
The gateway and the schedule have to match that workspace. A dataset that refreshes in my workspace and is then copied is not a release.
What fails later
Capacity is full, a licence lapses, or a publisher leaves and the workspace has no owner. The visual then looks stale.
Those are reporting operations. I investigate them alongside the warehouse job, not after a redesign of the page.
